About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hello,

I am an American who has lived in VN the past year working as an English teacher. Is it possible to receive a Chinese visa in Ho Chi Minh City, and this close to the Lunar New Year is it even possible to do it in the same day? I have travel plans to be in Hong Kong for the Lunar New Year but wanted to know if it was possible to make a short trip from there to Beijing. If I can't get a Chinese visa in time here in Ho Chi Minh City, is it possible to get a Chinese Visa done in 1-2 days from Hong Kong?

it is possible for you to receive a Chinese visa in Ho Chi Minh City, the same-day service is not available, 2-3 working days express service is available.

It is also possible for you to get a Chinese visa in Hong Kong and apply for Rush service, it takes 2 working day (including the submission day. e.g. If visa application is submitted on the morning of Monday, collection time is on the morning of Tuesday; If visa application is submitted on the afternoon of Monday, collection time is on the afternoon of Tuesday)
