Thank you very much for your reply. I have in the past caught a sleeper bus from Nanning to Hong Kong. Is possible to go then from Hong Kong to Nanning on sleeper bus ?I want to try to avoid the very busy trains at that time.0

You can take bus from Guilin general bus station to Xingan. The bus fare is CNY12/person. Then walk to Ling Canal.0
