Hi,I will be staying in Beijing from April,2011 for One whole year. Do we get Indian Food, vegetables etc.Is there any specific shop for purchasing the kitchen food items.Secondly, Is the living cost very high.I would like to stay near Datun Rd. Beijing 100101 ，China.Do we get cheap single person accomodations there.WAITING FOR THE REPLY

You can find many nice Indian food restaurant in Beijing, such as Indian Kitchen at 2/F, No.2, Sanlitun Beixiaojie, Chaoyang District; Taj Pavilion at 3/F, Lidu Holiday Inn, No.6, Jiangtai Lu, Chaoyang District; Mirch Masala Indian Cuisine at No.60-2, Nanluogu Xiang, Xicheng District. You can find vergetables in these restaurants. Generally, you can find kitchen food items in most big supermarket in Beijing. Or you can go to Jinwuxing, Dazhongsi wholesale market for a look. 6The living cost is high in Beijing. You can find single person accommodations at Datun Lu, but it may be not cheap. You can try to find one near the bird nest.
