Does my 2 year old son need passport or visa to Beijing?

I will travel to China with my son who is under 2 year old for holidays in July. Does my son need his own passport and Visa or can he just travel with me without any document?? Thanks

You son need his own passport and visa. You may also need to bring his birth certification.
