Hi,will be in beijing april 2011.  We are staying at the Best western premier hotela.k.a. fifth ring hotel, no. 15 dongsanhuan south road, chaoyang district (approx.2 miles east of beijing international tennis center.  We would like to travel bysubway to the summer palace.  Is this possible?  if so where can I get a subwayroute map?  thanks very much for your help

It is possible to take a subway to summer palace, but you have to walk for at least 30 minutes the nearest Subway station international trade center first. The best way to Summer Palace from your hotel is walking northwards for about 20m after exiting the hotel, turn right and walk on for about 300m, cross the road to Songyu Xili Bus Stop to take Bus no.683 to Summer Palace directly.
