About:Chinese Embassy in South Africa

Hi

I am currently working in Japan. My parents recently won a holiday trip to Hong Kong. They were suppose to visit me in Japan, bt they currently dnt meet the requirements for a Japanese visa. So I will visit them instead in Hong Kong.

I just want to confirm: Do I need a visa to enter Hong Kong from Japan?
If I want to enter China at a later time in the year, would I need to apply for one at the South African embassy in Japan?

Kind Regards
S

You don't need a visa to enter Hong Kong from Japan for less than 30 days visit. If you want to enter Mainland China at a later time in the year, you need to apply for China visa at China embassy in Japan(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/japan.htm) rather than South African embassy in Japan.
