I'll be travelling to Taipei this coming Thurs and is having headache on the suitable clothes to bring. My friend who just came back last week told me the temperature can go as low as single degree celsius, is that true? Do I need thermal wear or down-feather winter jacket?By the way, during this period would there be any spring or summer fashion in the stores?

The usual temperature during Jan is about 12~19C, may be low to single degree celsius at night, but it is not so cold. Sweater with jacket is OK. You can find Spring and summer fashion in the stores at that time.
