About:Chinese Embassy in Vietnam

Hello,

I am a Dutch passport holder and am hoping to get a visa to China. I would like to make my application in Hanoi if possible.

Can you please tell me if this is possible to arrange in Hanoi when I arrive there, what the requirements are in order to qualify for the visa, what the costs will be and how long the visa would take to process?

I would like to travel overland from Sapa in Vietnam into China where I would like to spend about 2 weeks traveling before I fly to Hong Kong and then onward to Manilla.

I have to say that the Chinese embassy in Hanoi only can issue visa to Vietnam citizens and foreigners who reside or work there, some said for at least 2 months stay in vietnam. So, possibly, your application may not be accepted. You can have to try to get your visa processed from Chinese consulate in Ho Chi Minh city, or change itinerary so as to apply for a Visa to China(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/visa.htm) in HK, that could be easier.
