About:China Customs Declaration

I purchased an electronic item from china, I had to send it back for repairs, i sent it before christmas and it still hasn't arrived at the exporters in china. I read that electonics are not allowed into china. Would thins stop it from entering or why nit would be held up? Unfortunately australia doesn't do tracking for parcels unless you pay hundreds of dollars. Is therte any way of contacting customs in china to see if it is being held up etc?
Thank you.

I find that China customs has their own English website, I think you may find contacts on it. Have a try.
