About:Chinese Embassy in Philippines

My boyfriend and I are both Filipinos, currently applying for a China Tourist Visa for a short trip to Beijing in March for sightseeing.

However, I am currently still going through a divorce; thus, still legally married to another man.

Part of the visa requirements I need to submit are round trip tickets (under both our names), and hotel booking (under his name).

I am wondering if this will be a problem when we apply for a visa. Can I be denied due to some morality issue, since I will be sharing a room with my male companion? Or is this not an issue in China? I know there are some countries esp in the middle east that do not allow this travel arrangement.

Both of us have traveled extensively in the last few years, so we should not have a difficult time obtaining a visa. My only problem, are the legalities of being still married to someone else.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP

There is no morality issue in applying for a chinese visa. so long as you can provide the requirements for first time applicants to china you will be fine.

you won't be denied due to some morality issue for sharing a room with a male companion. It is not an issue in China. Please don't worry.

In addition, you can read Beijing Tour Packages(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/beijing.htm) to arrange your trip to Beijing in March
