About:Shuaiyuan Redware Teapots Museum

I am a student in China with a resident permit. My wife, formerly a Japanese citizen, just became a U.S.A. citizen, so she had to get a new U.S. passport. She had a resident permit in her old passport, and now needs to come back to China. What does she need to do? Does she need to get a new visa in her new passport? If so, should she get a tourist visa?
