About:World Expo History

I am attending a conference in Beijing. The conference hotel is Jiuhuan resort. I was told that it is a shabby hotel. Can anyone confirm or dispel that remark? Can you recommend a 4-star hotel that is near downtown Beijing and near the Jiuhuan Resort?

If you mean Jiuhua (no found of Jiuhuan)resort in Changping District, Xiaotangshan, that is not shabby, it is just far away from the city center. Scenes and surroundings are fine and very Chinese. It is a resort hotel and has hot spring bath and spa. If you stay at downtown beijing, it will be a problem for the transportation to the conference site.
