About:Terracotta Army, Xian

Greetings from America! My students are studying the mausoleum of Shi Huangdi. If it was excavate, wouldn't there be dangers of unknown quantities of mercury vapor that would escape?

I am curious about mercury being another reason why the tomb has not been excavated.

Thank you. I look forward to your response.
