About:Chengdu Attractions

I am(age 66 years old) going to Chengdu on 10.1.2011to 18.1.2011. I am told during this period the weather there is very cold. What are the top five things I am to take care., especially relating to health.Can I get cold and flu easily during this time. What are the things I should do to prevent cold and flu. Can I buy warm cloth there?
Please advise me quickly. Thank you.

It is vey cold in Chengdu at that time, but you can wear thick clothes like woolen sweaters and trousers, down coats and boots to be ready for that. If you won't take enough, you may also buy some in Chengdu. You may also have a flu vaccine before you leave.

Thank you very much for your kind advice.Is the woolen clothes in Chengdu very expansive? If I do not have a flu vaccine, what other medicine I should bring with me. How to prevent getting cold and flu in Chengdu's cold weather. Any advice. Thank you.

Woolen clothes? See where you buy it. There will be sales for the New Year now in shopping centers. You may go to choose one. You can bring some medecine to deal with cold ad flu. It is about 0-4 degrees in Chengdu, now. May rain sometimes, so wear suitable shoes too, waterproof.
