About:Chinese Temporary Residence Permit

Hi,

I have a company offering me long term employment in China. They have never hired a foreigner before and are asking me to do research about the process.

What do I need to know?
Should I ask for F visa or Z visa?
I have heard many people say that I can work for pay on a F visa, is this true?

I will be based in Beijing. So can this process be done if I am already in China? And can you please recommend me any visa services in Beijing?

Thanks in advance.

You should apply for Z visa, first, please refer to China Embassy in Canada(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/embassy/canada.htm) to have a basic idea of China work visa. Your employer should obtain the Alien Work Permit and Visa Notification Form for you. It is very hard to get a Z visa in Beijing, you have to get Z visa outside Mainland China
