About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hi,
I am flying tomorrow from London(LHR) to Bangkok(BKK) via Shanghai(PVG).
First leg is with British Airways from London to Shanghai Terminal 2. Then I have 3 hours in Pudong (if everything goes to plan) and continue to Bangkok with China Eastern Airlines (from Terminal 1). I will travel with hand luggage only. It doesn't seem to be possible to check-in with China Eastern over the internet or phone.
Does anyone know the transfer procedure in Shanghai? Do I need to go through immigration?

Many thanks in advance

Phillip

After arrival at the airport, you need to confirm the onwarding boarding pass at the transfer counter, then go to the joint inspection area to accept the quarantine, immigration and security check. Then go to the international departure hall to wait for next flight. Three hours are enough for you to make this transfer.
