About:Jiuzhaigou Transportation

I am planning to visit Sichuan and Jiuzhaigou next year in mid October.
I would also like to visit either the Hailuogou glacier or the Dagu glacier(in Heishui).

Can anyone tell me which glacier is a better one to visit. There doesn't seem to be much information online in English about the Dagu glacier. I understand this glacier was opened to visitors only in 2009. Can anyone tell me more about it and how we can get to Heishui county and the Dagu glacier? Are there public transport going there from Jiuzhaigou or Chengdu and are the roads safe? What kind of accommodation is available near the Dagu glacier?

Dagu glacier is the youngest, largest and lowest glacier in the world. There isn't direct bus from jiuzhaigou to heishu, but there is direct bus from Chengdu Chazidian bus station. All the way is asphalt road, please don't worry. As for the accommodation, you may either stay at Heishui County or the hotels near the glacier like bingchuanguojida hotel and bingchuan hotel.
