About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hello,
I will be flying from Hiroshima,Japan to Bangkok, Thailand via Shanghai Pudong with Eastern China Airlines and come back the same way a week later. Both times, my waiting time is not more than hours. Normally, Turkish people need a visa to enter China. I will only be transferring, so do i need a visa for that? Some Japanese sites say that I do, so I couldn't be sure.. And I only have my e-ticket at the moment..

If you just stay within the airport for less than 24 hours, then no visa will be needed.
