About:Universities Enrolling Foreign Students

my daughter studies in Sydney. She is at year 11 (high school graduate)> can she enrolls at Shanghai University in Business and Finance Faculty> She cannot speak Chinese. Is there any English program for such faculty. When she would like to learn Chinese, can she studies her Chinese at the same time she studies at university ? how much is the tuition of the school and how much is the cost of living in Shanghai.

Hi Paul, I think your daugter can't enroll at Shanghai university unless Shanghai university accept her application and she can pass the admission exam. However, I think it's hard, your daughter is still 11 years old, child of her age should be in primary school or at most in middle school, but not in university. I do know that some primary or middle schools in China provide bilingual education. Maybe you can try the attached bilingual school to Shanghai International Studies University. The tuition fee is around 20,000 a year per student. As for the cost of living in Shanghai(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai.htm), I think CNY5,000 may make a person living an ordinary life.
