With all required documents, the visa processing at CVASC in Malaysia takes 4 working days. so, it is unnecessary to entrust an agency by posting your passport to them. The center will be closed only for few days (from Feb.2-4, perhaps). You can submit your application to them when you come back. Chinese visa is valid for 3 months from the issue date, that means, you can enter China with it any time during the 3 months. After entry, you need to register yourself at local PSB and change the Z visa into a resident permit that based on your employment contract.
