My flight was cancelled and I need to get from Shangai to Anqing on February 1st, and return to Shanghai on February 12th.  I found train schedules but do not know how to reserve & pay for a ticket.  Is this possible?  Or is there a bus that goes from/to Shanghai and Anqing?  Thank you!

Oh, in this case, you may need to book the Shanghai train ticket(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/china-trains/shanghai-schedule.htm) in advance online. February 3 would be Chinese Spring Festival(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/essential/holidays/spring-festival.htm) , thus it may be difficult for you to get a train ticket at the train station on your leaving day. There is also long-distance bus from Shanghai Hutai Long-distance bus station to Anqing which runs from 05:40 to 20:30.
