About:Getting to Macau

Ms Sisley,

Thank you for the information. In addition to the earlier query, I would appreciate if you could assist further:

1) Apparently, mode of transportation from Macau to Shenzhen is by sea. What is the difference between travelling by ferry and turbo jet in term of the duration and fare? Which is more convenient? Is it from the same terminal?

2) My family and I will be staying in Dorset Seaview Hong Kong at Kowloon. If we want to travel from Hong Kong to Shenzhen instead, what will be the best mode of transportation, the duration and fare? As mentioned earlier, we have booked ourselves in Green Tree Inn in Shenzhen.

3) With regard to Macau, my apology. The hotel is West Taipa. How far is it from the hotel to shekou terminal and the duration and fare? From the reading of other queries posted here, does this hotel provides free shuttle to the terminal?

Your earlier information has been very helpful. Looking forward to your reply.

Regards,
Jessica

1. Turbo jet is the name of the ferry company, which operates ferries from Macau to Shenzhen.
2. From this hotel, suggested that you take a the metro to Kowloon Tong station and then transfer to the KCR East Rail to Luohu border. Walking throuhg the border, you could enter into Shenzhen. The train is HKD35.7/adult and takes you about one hour.
3. Is it the Best Western Hotel Taipa Macau? If so, it has free bus to the ferry terminal where you could take ferry to Shenzhen Shekou Port.
