About:2026 / 2027 / 2028 Public Holiday Calendar

My family will be in Beijing from October 5-10, 2011. I have just read that this is a National Holiday week. Will we have trouble getting an apartment and also taking the train to Xian and to Tianjin?

Yes, it would be China National Day holidays from Oct 1 to Oct 7, when the hotels and train tickets will be hard to book. Meanwhile, the tourist attractions, trains, public buses all will be crowded, so I advise you change your schedule or book your hotels and train tickets earlier.
