About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

To whom it may concern,

I was unable to call Bai Yun customer service, as the line was too busy so i post my questions here.

1) Can China citizen from Guang Zhou can enter flight to Shanghai without passport and visa?
2) I understand during Chinese New Year going to be very pack. How long for the custom queue? I plan depart on 1 Feb 2011 and back on 3 Feb 2011 to Guang Zhou.
3) How about the traffic condition in Shanghai?

Thank You,
Wayne Poon

1. Of course, it is a domestic airline from Guangzhou to Shanghai. None passport or visa is required, but need to show the valid ID card of China citizen.
2. There will not be so serious at the airport, but you'd better get to the airport 30~60 minutes earlier during Chinese New Year than other regular days.
3. Except of Shanghai railway stations, the other pulic traffic such as city-bus and taxi will be not problem.

You'd better givp up the idea of taking a train from Guangzhou to shanghai, both for the long-distance and crowded passengers. Even couldn't you purchase a ticket.

The train in city? It should be the Shanghai subway(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/cityguides/shanghai/transportation/subway.htm), right? If so, you could take easy at anytime:)
