dec.  11, 2010hi me and my wife  will be in shanghai feb 15- feb 19 , 2011. while in shanghai i plan to allocate a day for a tour to one of those water town that i  heared so much about. im so excited to see one of  places. what water town would you suggest the best. is one day sufficient time to appreciate these place, how much does it cost , how do i get there. in anticipation of your reply i would like to thank so much for sharing us ur time.

I advise you to visit Zhouzhuang, the No. 1 Water Town of China. Zhouzhuang worth your one day tour. You can take bus from the tourist transportation center at Shanghai Stadium to Zhouzhuang. Well, Shanghai Zhujiajiao, Nanxun, Wuzhen and Xitang are also very beautiful, but you may need more time to visit them. You'd better join a local tour which would arrange all of these for you, for time is not every enough for you to visit any of these places in one day if you are not familar with local transportation.
