About:Chinese Consulate in Los Angeles

To pick up the a new passport in LA, USA, do I need to bring an ID card? Also, can somebody else pick up the passport instead of me? If not, can I pick up the passport at a later date than my pick up date?
Sincerely,
Jennifer Liu

You don't need to bring your ID card, just take the Pick Up Slip to collect your passport. Someone else can pick up the passport for you, please give the Pick Up Slip to him/her. If you lost the Pick Up Slip, you have to take the ID card and collect your passort in person.
