About:Shanghai Transportation

I am only traveling thru Shanghai on route to Sydney. Do I need a visa for this. I may have an overnight stay.

No problem without a visa if you stay less than 24 hours, but you have to stay inside the airport restricted area. Australian passport do you have? If so, you can stay 48 hours without a visa and allowed to get out of the airport and find a comfortable hotel nearby.
