Hi, my family (2 adult and 3 children with ages of 10 - 13)will travel to Hongkong on 17 dec - 23 dec. My opinion is, it's preferable to take cab/taxi from the airport to the hotel (novotel century hotel at wanchai) than using MTR due to the cost and time? Is my opinion is correct? Can we, 5 people, use 1 taxi to travel around?I heard the global warming makes the weather in Hongkong colder nowadays. Do we need to bring our thick jacket or the light one?

Hi, I think taxi is better than MTR from the airport to your hotel in terms of the cost and time for you five people. Taxi fare may be about HKD280. The temperature is low than usual but it is still warm with a temperature about 14~26C. You have no need to bting thick jacket. Light one is OK.
