About:First Time China

I am going to Shanghai the end of this month and I heard that it was really cheap to buy material and have a tailor make an outfit or a dress. Is that true and if so - where would you suggest go? And, should I take my own pattern or will they have patterns to choose from?

Thanks

I think you could go to the South Bund Material Market on Lujiabang Road. The tailors supply pattern, but you could also tell your think to your liking. The price depents on the meterial and cloth style.
