About:Shanghai Metro Ticket

Hi,I am going to catch the subway from Zhongshan station to Pudong Airport Station for my midnight flight. How long would it take? Is it better to take a taxi and how much should it be? Thank a lot.

Do you mean Zhongshan Park Station or Zhongshan North Road Station? Which subway line will you take?

It's Zhongshan Park Station and I will be taking subway line 2.

Hi Ann, it will take you more than 1.5 hours to take subway line 2 from Zhongshan Park Station to Pudong Airport. It would take you around 1.5 hours to take taxi. I think subway is a better choice, since there might be traffic jam and the subway time is fixed. If you think the time is too long, you can take Subway Line 2 to Longyang Lu Subway Station and then take Maglev to Pudong Airport, it takes around aroundd 50 minutes from Zhongshan Park Station to Longyang Lu Station and Maglev takes around 10 minutes.

Hi Carmen,

I understand that the last Maglev train to leave for Pudong is 09:40pm. If I am not able to catch the last Maglev Train, are there any alternatives(duration and pricing) to reach the airport in time? Can I take taxi from Longyang Lu Subway to the airport, how long would it take and cost?

After 9:30 p.m., take a taxi to Pudong Airportfrom Longyang Road. Should be between 120 and 150 RMB. Allow for about 40 minutes at that time of night.
