hi, i recently received my z visa and my company is working on my residency permit. the problem is that i noticed it is a single entry z visa and i am going back to hongkong in december as well as many other countries during the spring holiday.since it is a single entry, do i have to apply for a work visa all over again to return to china?

Z visa holders should apply for a residence permit from a local county level Public Security Bureau within 30 days after entering China. The residence permit is like a multiple-entry visa, you can use it to enter and exit China for many times. Now, first get a Residence Permit after entering China, then go to Hong Kong in December.
