Can trough tickets be purchased at PVG to go ALL THE WAY on to Peoples Square, using the maglev and connections via Longyang. What is the cost?My final destination is the Renaissance Yuyuan Hotel - is this a good way of doing it or is there a better way? How far is the walk from Peoples Square to the hotel?

Shanghai does not have through tickets for subways. Longyang is the end of the Maglev trains and then you can make a transfer to subway Line 2. The hotel is not far from the People Square, Nanjing Road and the Bund, about 1.5 kilometers/10 minutes' drive from People's Square.
