About:China Customs Declaration

I am going to relocate in China and heve my items with me, such as my clothes, luggage, electronic items, and such, some items were expensive items and some not so much, how can I check if such things are going to be taxed or not. For example, will I be taxed on the jacket that I wear into country, if the price I paid for it is over 600 dollars?
Please let me know, that would help a lot, since all that I have read is mostly on electronic items, and my wife has a few of her bags, in total value exceeding the 2000 RMB, should we just get rid of the bags, and al our things prior to entering the country?

Of course not taxed on your clothes. That is mainly aimed to restrict on bringing new digital items specially Ipad, Iphone into China, so the custom will charge tax for those dogital items beyond the amount for personal use. No problem for one laptop for each, so as to digital camera, etc.
