About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hi
I have got a teaching job in Dalian. The contract I have signed is for 9 months and the school is arranging my initial entry visa paperwork.

My question is if everything works out okay and I decide to stay in China and re-new the contract with the school can I come to China on a one way ticket or do I have to have proof of return or onward travel.

Many thanks for your help

Best Regards
Jean

You can come to China on a one way ticket if you renew the contract with the school, for work visa or student visa application, the return flight ticket is not required because you will stay in China for a long time. The return date is not fixed.
