About:China Visa Exemption

i am a Filipino, residing in the philippines. i have not tried going abroad yet and has plans to go to China (mainland) soon.I am a housewife. i would like to visit a friend in China for 5 days. do i need a visa? may i know what is the definition of diplomatic, special or official passpost holder? thanks!

Yes, you need a visa, the diplomatic, service or offical passport is issued to diplomatic officials or government officials, I guess that you hold an ordinary passport because you are a housewife.
