About:Chinese Embassy in Nepal

Dear Sir,
We are travelling China since two weeks with an L visum (single entry and 60 days permitted travelling).
At this moment we are in Chengdu and we are planning a trip starting on november 9th to Tibet. We booked with a tour operator so we have permission.
The 7-day tour stops at the Nepal border and we would like to cross to Kathmandu to do a 14-days trek.

We would leave part of our lugage in Chengdu and after Nepal we would like to travel further on to Dali, Lijiang, Guilin, Shanghai.

My question is: what do I need to do? Where and how can I become a double entry? Or do I need to apply a new single entry visum? If so, won't that apply be too close to the first apply?

Please let me know,
Sincerely,

Arne Wittevrongel

You have to apply for a new single-entry visa in Kathmandu, however, if your application is denied, you can't return to Chengdu to pick up your luggage and travel further in China. Nobody can sure that you will get a new China L Visa in Kathmandu. In addition, you can read China Package Tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/) as a reference for your trip in Dali, Lijiang, Guilin, Shanghai
