About:Embassy & Consulates of Malaysia in China

Hi..

I just got my visa last week, but my company hold my work permit (alien employment permit). Does the company has the right to hold my work permit? It is written in the permit, that the holder should take the permit all the time in case of inspection. But my company insist to hold it. Does anyone has any idea where can I find other China regulation about this?

Please help!
Thanks

It is normal actually, for fear of job-hopping. But personally, i think it is illegal.
