About:Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport

Hi
My daughter and I are Australian Citizens and will be briefly stopping in Guangzhou arriving 20.20h one day and departing 21.20h the next, on a return trip from CAMBODIA TO SYDNEY. Obviously this is just over 24 h (arrival to departure) but we would be passing through immigration (out and then in) within 24 hours. We would like to stay in a hotel overnight. Do we need visas to do this??

You need to apply for a transit visa to China in advance through Chinese Visa Application Service Center if you will stay in China for more than 24 hours.
