About:Chinese Embassy in Malaysia

i am doing PhD in Malaysia. Actually i am resident of Pakistan. I, with my family, are planning for a visit to Hong Kong in December 2010. Should we apply for a visa to chinese embassy?
How many days are required for processing of visa and what are charges?

yes, you can apply for Hong Kong visa from Chinese embassy in Malaysia, if your application doesn't need the approval from Hong Kong Immigration Department, it takes 4 working days, otherwise, it takes 4 weeks.
