About:Shanghai Pudong Airport

Hello: Am planning to travel from Seoul (Asiana) via Shanghai Pudong for Munich (Lufthansa). Do I need visa for entry into China i.e. passing passport control or not. Both flights are international. Thank you

You may be exempt from going through the procedures for obtaining a transit visa if you hold a through ticket and have booked seats on international airliners flying directly through China, and will stay in a transit city for less than 24 hours without leaving the airport.
