Question

Hi, I plan to travel to Hohhot next month (Nov). I know it will be cold at that time, but I would really like to be able to go to Gegentala or the Xilamuren Grasslands. How is best to travel there from Hohhot city? Are there buses/trains or must I catch a taxi?Many thanks!

If take public transport, you'll need to transfer for several times, better hire van to the two places. Or, I think you could participate in  Hohhot Tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/hohhot.htm) , so the travel agent could arrange transportation and hotels well in terms of your needs.
