my family will be going to HK and MACAU this coming dec but then we would like to visit shenzen also fr macau port, all i wanted to know if we need VISA for visiting shenzen? my husband will be meeting us in HK since he will travel from Singapore does he need also a VISA for shenzen? we are only going to stay 1 day in shenzen. thank you!

Yes, you all need visa to Shenzhen, and i heard that Chinese goveronment has already stopped issuing Shenzhen visa on arrival. So, you all need to apply through Chinese embassy in advance.
