About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

My husband & I, both Australian, are taking a cruise and will visit Shanghai, Dailan, Xingang for a day each while in port. Please advise what visas we will need and, since we live on the north NSW coast, are we able to apply via email or post. We have been to China for a month in 2007. Can you tell me if you need a visa when on a cruise ship if you don't get off the ship at port in China?

Many thanks
Marika Hutchinson

yOu can apply for a multi-entry tourist visa to China, the China Visa Application Service Center accepts post application. You can send the application to them. Your previous China visa is helpful for your application this time.

If you do not get off from the cruise ship, then you do not need to apply for a visa.
