About:Top 10 Suzhou Foods You Should Try

I just visited Suzhuo and does not have a problem finding halal food there. I stayed at Holiday Inn Jasmine hotel, and a mosque (the only one in Suzhuo) is just 1 min walk away. A halal food stall is located next to the mosque. 5 mins walk from the hotel, there is Beijiang restaurant (they have 4 branches across Suzhuo) and Pamer restaurant serving xinjiang food less than 10mins walk away. There is also a muslim food stall, outside Tiger hill, tourist area.

Hi Mr Ong.... beware though, Beijiang (or other slightly more expensive restaurant) is not really 100% halal, cos they serve alcohol as well. My favourites there, are prawn fritters with corn and egg-yolk, caramelised sweet potato and sweet & sour (bonesless) fish. Yummy... On the streets of Suzhuo, watch-out for muslim men in white skull-cap manning a small halal food stall. I certainly don't understand what's written on the signboard but if there is an arabic word 'halal', then it is muslim-owned.
