Hi! my friends and i are going to hong kong on nov. 21-25 and we also intend to visit macau and shenzhen within those dates. is it possible to tour shenzhen in one day (say 10am-3pm)? can we visit WOW and the two attractions nearby WOW in that time frame? we hope to get back to hong kong in the afternoon... where can we get a visa to enter shenzhen when coming from hong kong and about how much? what are the requirements to get a visa?thank you!

You have time to see WOW, but no time to see nearby two attractions around it, I think. You can get the visa in Luohu Border custom, Huanggang is okay too. The costs is usually 150HKD. Usually, your passport is the only think you need to show. Philippines can not get China visa on arrival at Shenzhen, even in Hong Kong. This is fact serveral months ago. So, I think you should apply it in advance. If you just have few hours to Shenzhen, perhaps you can cancel it. Better to call China consulate to make sure of this.

oh, i see... so that means, before we could visit Shenzhen, we should have secured our china visas from China embassy here in Philippines? wow, that's difficult... thanx for the info, very helpful...may i further ask if we need to secure hong kong visa before going there or we could get it upon arrival at hong kong? how about if we go to macau from hong kong, can we get visa upon arrival at macau?

Yes, I think that will be better. You can get to Hong Kong first and ask for the visa on arrival or visa in Hong Kong things, then make your decision to go or not. It seems you do not need visa to enter Hong Kong and Macau for short term of travel?!
