You'd better go to Harbin, Heilongjiang province to see the snow and ski resorts between Oct.24 to Nov.2 of this year, if you want to visit the Ski Resorts around Beijing, you have to wait till late November, for more information, you can refer to Beijing Tours(https://www.travelchinaguide.com/package/beijingtour7.htm)

Thank you Mrs. Lena for the info. I have researched further that as early as mid-October in the last 3 yrs., a place called Mohi in Heilongjiang experiences snow.
