Very urgent
Dear Sir
I am an Egyptian student, and I arrived to Urumqi for practice in photo voltaic company call sunoasis here in Urumqi. I need to go to Xian city to meet my supervisor there and carry up some analysis for my thesis.

my problem is that I booked a ticket from Urumqi To Xian in the date of 27/9/2010 ( some Chinese student booked it for me), the train number is K544 and I will start the journey in 09:36 but when I checked the internet I found that this train will go first to the city of Chongqing North at the time of 05:56 and the duration of the journey is 0d44h20m and I did not find in the internet that this train will go to Xian, but I noticed that there is a train from Chongqing North to Xian ( the train number is K1004/K1001) that will arrive to Xian in 22:40 and the period of transit from my first train from Urumqi and this train is about four hours. This last train (K1004/K1001) will arrive in Xian in 22:40 after a journey of about 0d12h32m.
My questions are
1) is these information correct?
2) Can I change the train ticket for a shorter journey from Urumqi to Xian or not? How and when?
3) What is the shorter course from Urumqi to Xian?
4) I have some mineralogical samples about 2 kg , these samples are in powder form that i will analyze it in Xian with the help of my supervisor, my question about these samples is:
they will let me to ride the train with these samples or not?
for ur information they are not harmful , they are used for making the photo voltaic cells for changing the sun energy to electricity.
