About:China Train

Can anyone advise me if I can buy train tickets in Hangzhou or Shanghai for travel on trains between Xian and Pingyao, and Pingyao-Datong, and Datong-Beijing? Or must I only buy train tickets at the points of departure.

For the train tickets from Xian and Datong, you could arrange it online or buy it in Shanghai. About the tickets Pingyao-Datong, you can buy it at the train station when you arrive.
