Dear Sir,

1) May I know what is the chance of getting a seat or sleeper for the same day of departure around the National days ?
2) Which usually sell off first ? soft sleeper, hard sleeper, soft seat or hard seat ?
3) Is the chance better for short distance or overnight long distance trip ?
4) Is hard and soft seats numbered or free-seating ? Will they be any standing room tickets if seats are full ?

Thank you and look forward to your reply.

The tickets would be very hard to get, but it would be easier if you book one through tour agencies.
2. It depends, for short journey, hard seat and soft seat would sell off first, and for long journey, hard sleeper would be harder to get than soft sleeper.
3. The chance is almost the same, there is no big difference between thse two kinds of trip.
4. Some train have standing ticket, the seats are all numbered, if you got tickets you'll surely get your seat.
