About:Hong Kong Travel Tips

Hi,

Anyone familiar with Hong Kong contract/rental law? We're a group planning a holiday in HK and looked at vacation rental apartments rather than hotels. One that we made enquiry about had this clause in its rental contract "Rates, terms and conditions are subject to change without notice." Is this normal and is it legal? I can't see the point of having a contract if what was agreed on can be changed without notice. How do you enforce a mutating contract?

Would appreciate it if someone can help.

Andy

This is obviously unacceptable, I think you can find an agency to help you or you can find other house owners.
